In June, 2007, our daughter Kendall was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis and admitted to Children’s Hospital. While there she received an incredibly high level of care and compassion from her medical team and all of Children’s staff. We were touched by everyone at Children’s and the impact they have on the lives of the many boys and girls they care for each day. 

Kendall’s illness was one in a million, and despite everything that her medical team could do, she passed away after being ill for only ten days, at the young age of 3 months. 

After such a tragedy, we want something good to come from this. We have established the Kendall Rose Davis Memorial Foundation, Inc.  dedicated to raising funds for Children's Hospital Boston. It is our hope that through our fund raising efforts we are able to keep the memory of Kendall alive while helping other families that are faced with their own life changing illnesses.
